"Best customer service experience ever. Hands down. - My wife and I got married in Fairbanks in September and Buzzy Chiu and her staff added to the perfect experience. From helping us arrange welcome baskets, to always being on call and helping us coordinate our guests, to the general manager herslf driving a couple friends to the airport, they went out of their way to ensure an unbelievable time and wonderful experience, shared by all. The hotel is charming, with beautiful, well-kept rooms. And it's in a great part of town for fun downtown walks. We cannot recommend this place enough, and plan on being back in the summer to say hello."  - February 2012

"I had a wonderful stay at the Bridgewater Hotel. The location couldn't be beat for seeing the downtown area. The room was clean, warm and plenty of hot water for the shower. The free trolley service was outstanding. It stopped at all the major sights and conveniences such as Fred Meyer area. I didn't have to have a rental car at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others that are staying in Fairbanks."  - September 2011

"Got into Fairbanks and wasn't sure where to stay. Checked around and found the prices at the Bridgewater to be better than the big chains. What a pleasant surprise it was staying here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendliest staff at the front desk we've ever encounted. They were very helpful with all our questions. We were originally going to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 4 and we were very glad we picked the Bridgewater from the start. They offer a VERY NICE breakfast in the hotel…we would stay here again in a heartbeat should we ever return to Fairbanks!!"  - August 2011

"Great location. This hotel is centrally located, adjacent to a Italian restaurant. Close to the ice museum and the information / museum center. They operate a bus that travels to various parts of the city and they also provide pick-up/delivery to the airport. Staff were helpful."  - August 2011

"The staff was awesome. I spent two nights here and although the hotel was fine, the staff made my stay spectacular! The Bridgewater is only open in the summer. The location downtown is very convenient. I was within five blocks of the post office, tourist shopping, downtown attractions, the Visitors Center and the local bus transit center. The Bridgewater is right across the street from the Chena River - there is a beautiful greenway for a couple of miles - a very pleasant walk! The hotel has a breakfast buffet, but it is right between two of the best restaurants in the city for lunch and/or dinner. The Bridgewater is an older hotel - basic - but the most reasonably priced, clean hotel in Fairbanks in the summer. If you want to be comfortable on a budget, this is your place. The staff was very friendly and helpful.The shuttle driver (15 minutes from the airport each way, free!) was terrific."  - July 2011

Buzzie did her best to make sure that we were comfortable in our room and helped us navigate around Fairbanks for both our business and tourist adventures. She is a true asset to the Hotel. "Great place to stay. We planned on staying a few extra days in Fairbanks after our cruise and land tour. We had reservations at the Bridgewater. This hotel is located downtown with dining close by but what makes it a great place to stay is the staff. These folks went out of their way to help us when I became ill our last day. Service that we didn't find at the larger hotels we stayed at. The hotel has a free bus service that takes you to various shopping and tourist sites. Dining is close by and they have a great breakfast buffet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone headed to Fairbanks."  - June 2011

"My wife and I spent only one night at the Bridgewater. We have no complaints - parking was adjacent to the hotel, the hotel had our reservation, the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel and our room were neat and clean…thick curtains that shut out about 99% of the midnight sunlight. The Bridgewater offered two breakfast options - Continental (about $9) or Full Buffet (about $13), which was very good. If we were to return to Fairbanks, I would stay at the Bridgewater. I called the hotel itself and got a good rate."  - June 2011

"I know it's been a couple of months since I visited Fairbanks, but I wanted to be sure to tell you all that I had a nice stay at your hotel. I traveled about 5400 miles on a road trip and I wanted to say that your front desk gal, Karen, was one of the nicest and most helpful people that I met along the way.
