"Best customer service experience ever. Hands down. - My wife and I got married in Fairbanks in September and Buzzy Chiu and her staff added to the perfect experience. From helping us arrange welcome baskets, to always being on call and helping us coordinate our guests, to the general manager herslf driving a couple friends to the airport, they went out of their way to ensure an unbelievable time and wonderful experience, shared by all. The hotel is charming, with beautiful, well-kept rooms. And it's in a great part of town for fun downtown walks. We cannot recommend this place enough, and plan on being back in the summer to say hello." - February 2012
"Great location. This hotel is centrally located, adjacent to a Italian restaurant. Close to the ice museum and the information / museum center. They operate a bus that travels to various parts of the city and they also provide pick-up/delivery to the airport. Staff were helpful." - August 2011 "Bridgewater Fairbanks. We enjoyed our stay. Great location and a very helpful front desk. Around the corner from hotel an awesome BBQ restaurant. Room was small but adequate. Would stay again for the money". - August 2011 "An older hotel, but clean and nicely updated inside. Great breakfast buffet! Definitely stay there again." - June 2011 "Great place to stay. We planned on staying a few extra days in Fairbanks after our cruise and land tour. We had reservations at the Bridgewater. This hotel is located downtown with dining close by but what makes it a great place to stay is the staff. These folks went out of their way to help us when I became ill our last day. Service that we didn't find at the larger hotels we stayed at. The hotel has a free bus service that takes you to various shopping and tourist sites. Dining is close by and they have a great breakfast buffet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone headed to Fairbanks." - June 2011 "We stayed at Bridgewater Hotel on June 1. We loved it, everything from being picked up at the train depot, to the hotel atmosphere, the central downtown location, the comfortable room. We would have stayed longer if we could, and will definitely recommend it to our travel agent and friends. - June 2011 "My wife and I spent only one night at the Bridgewater. We have no complaints - parking was adjacent to the hotel, the hotel had our reservation, the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel and our room were neat and clean…thick curtains that shut out about 99% of the midnight sunlight. The Bridgewater offered two breakfast options - Continental (about $9) or Full Buffet (about $13), which was very good. If we were to return to Fairbanks, I would stay at the Bridgewater. I called the hotel itself and got a good rate." - June 2011 "I know it's been a couple of months since I visited Fairbanks, but I wanted to be sure to tell you all that I had a nice stay at your hotel. I traveled about 5400 miles on a road trip and I wanted to say that your front desk gal, Karen, was one of the nicest and most helpful people that I met along the way. She went out of her way to make sure I had a nice visit to Alaska. Hotels definitely need to praise employees like Karen. Thanks for the nice time in Fairbanks. I also appreciated your pleasant, comfortable room. Thanks for everything. Colleen from Colorado." - September 2010 "Everything was very nice at the Bridgewater. The staff was very friendly, and especially helpful with information about the town, as well as the shuttle. I just finished a 12 day trip, & the Bridgewater was the best hotel I stayed in the whole time." - September 2010 "We loved the hotel! Staff were friendly, and the hotel was in a lovely location on the Chena River. Additionally, what we especially enjoyed is the classiness of an older hotel, with the cleanliness of a new one. Lovely, lovely, lovely! Plus, the price was great. Thanks for a great experience on all fronts!" - August 2010 "I completely enjoyed my stay at the Bridgewater! The staff was absolutely awesome. Not only were they helpful, but talk about a sense of humor. If I didn't have plans to go on to Barrow, I would have stayed another day just to be with the staff. I would stay there again in a flash." - August 2010 "Hotel was very nice, workers were friendly, flowers were beautiful! We were happy to get the 'Northern Lights' wake up call!" - July 2009 "Staff exhibited a genuine desire to be helpful - very refreshing. Truly more like a B & B in attitude & service. Offers of personal assistance during our stay were FAR above the norm. We consider the Bridgewater a wonderful find! Keep up the good work." - June 2009 "Very friendly & helpful. Beautiful flowers." - June 2009 "Nice hotel, good location, staff very helpful, good breakfast, two good restaurants right adjacent An excellent choice to stay in Fairbanks. Would certainly recommend." - June 2009 |
