Position Title:  Bartender                                                                                

 

Position Summary:

Greet and welcome guests to the establishment.  Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.  Will serve food as well.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:                                                                          

§   Exhibit excellent customer service skills.

§   Assist guests in a professional manner.   

§   Be knowledgeable of beer, wine and liquors                                     

§   Demonstrate punctuality and dependability.                                    

§   Lift and move heavy objects (kegs).                                              

§   Remain calm under pressure during busy shifts.

§   Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.

§   Be familiar with the dinner menu.                                                  

§   Operate POS System.                                                                 

§   Handle cash and balance revenue at the end of a shift.     

§   Complete all side work, in addition to stocking and cleaning.

§   Other duties as assigned.           

 

Will work at one of the following locations:

§   Wedgewood Resort (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September)

§   Sophie Station Hotel (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September, and year round)        

 

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

§   Minimum of 6 months bartending and serving experience.

§   TAMS or TIPS certified.

 

Hours:                        4 p.m.-midnight

                                                                                                                  

Uniform:                    Khaki pants and employer provides polo shirt.

 

Minimum Age:          21           

 

All employees must meet employer’s professional grooming standards.
