Position Title:  Housekeeper                                                                            

Position Summary:

Clean hotel rooms and suites, including bathrooms and kitchens. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

§ Clean hotel rooms and suites, including bathrooms and kitchens.

§ Demonstrate good customer service skills.

§ Complete tasks in a timely manner.

§ Lift and move heavy items (sometimes up stairs)

§ Interact with guests in a professional /helpful manner.

§ Operate vacuums and use different types of cleaning solutions.

§ Work effectively as a part of a team.

• If position requires driving, employee must possess AKDL.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from hotel rooms.
• All other duties as assigned.          

Will work at one of the following locations:

§ Bridgewater Hotel (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September)

§ Wedgewood Resort (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September, and year round)*

§ Sophie Station Hotel (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September, and year round)

*Note:  Wedgewood does not have elevators (three floors of stairs!)   

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

§ No experience necessary; we will train!

Hours:                      Approx. 8:30am to 5:00pm

                           Schedule will include weekends.

Uniform:                   Black pants/slacks, Bermuda shorts, or Capri pants.

                           Employer supplies polo shirts.

Minimum Age:      16       

All employees must meet employer’s professional grooming standards.
