Position Title: Inspector

Position Summary:

Supervise performance of housekeeping staff. Ensure facilities are clean and sanitized for all. Will perform housekeeping duties in the winter (see housekeeping description).

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Set professional example for crew regarding appearance, enthusiasm, attendance and performance.
• Transport housekeepers and supplies in vans around the resort (must have valid driver’s license)
• Be knowledgeable of FDI Clean Room Standards.
• Lift and move heavy objects (up and down stairs if necessary)
• Organize assigned cleaning crew and dispatch to rooms in a timely manner.
• Support crew throughout day with supplies and additional help as needed.
• Solve employee conflicts & report any concerns or problems to the executive housekeeper.
• Train and coach housekeepers.
• Inspect hotel rooms, entryways, vans and stock rooms for cleanliness etc.
• Secure rooms.
• Clean hotel rooms and suites, including bathrooms and kitchens.
• Interact with guests in a professional /helpful manner.
• All other duties as assigned.

Will work at one of the following locations:

§ Wedgewood Resort (Year Round)*

*Note: Wedgewood does not have elevators (three floors of stairs!)

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

§ Housekeeping and supervisory experience.

Hours: Approx. 8:30am to 5:00pm

Schedule will include weekends.

Uniform: Black pants/slacks, Bermuda shorts

Employer supplies polo shirts.

Minimum Age: 21

All employees must meet employer’s professional grooming standards.
