Position Title: Bell Staff/Houseman

Position Summary:

Transport luggage to and from hotel rooms and perform various other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties:

§ Must be able to work any shifts, including split shifts as assigned.

§ Receive luggage and mark for delivery to rooms.

§ Deliver luggage to rooms in a timely manner.

§ Always be aware of hotel and guest comfort and security; no horseplay, loud talking, or

treating luggage roughly.

§ Deliver clean linen to all buildings; collect dirty linen and deliver to laundry room.

§ Deliver stockroom totes to all buildings.

§ Sweep and pick up trash from gutters/driveways of all buildings. At times could be asked to assist with entryways.

§ May assist with laundry and housekeeping duties (to include washing and folding laundry, stripping rooms, vacuuming, and making beds).

§ Work well with the rest of the bell staff.

§ All other duties as assigned.

Will work at one of the following locations:

§ Wedgewood Resort (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September)

§ Sophie Station Suites (Seasonal, mid May thru mid September)

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

§ Some positions require driver’s license.

§ Must be able to move heavy objects (luggage) up and down stairs.  (Wedgewood has three floors, but no elevators.)

Hours: Hours will vary depending on the arrivals and departures of tour groups. Schedules will include varied shifts including split shifts.

Uniform: Black pants/slacks.

Employer provides shirt.

Minimum Age: 16

All employees must meet employer’s professional grooming standards.
