The resort features a 30,000-square-foot antique auto & vintage fashion museum and during the summer the Taiga Center features live presentations & Alaskan movies. Included on Wedgewood Resort's 105-acres is a 75-acre wildlife sanctuary providing bird watching and peaceful nature walks on groomed trails surrounding Wander Lake. After a full day of family activities, enjoy a Alaskan dinner at the Golden Bear Restaurant, then stop by the Visitor Center and watch Alaskan movies on the 80-inch HDTV. For those who just need to relax and enjoy the midnight sun while reading a book, we offer two flower garden gazebos. Take a guided tour of the world-class Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum or simply stroll through the resort grounds with 30-acres of beautifully landscaped flower gardens. There’s plenty to do at the Wedgewood Resort and, more importantly, our friendly staff is always available to assist you. On-site tram service is available and accessible walkways are featured throughout the resort and wildlife sanctuary. |

Don’t forget your camera!A giant cabbage patch grows on our property and an authentic Alaskan Activity Island offers family enjoyment. While on the Activity Island view an Alaska bush plane, a section of the Alyeska Pipeline, an authentic trapper’s cabin and cache, Mary Shields dog mushing sled, and wild Alaskan flowers. Summer evening activities at the Taiga Center include an Iditarod Show presented by veteran musher Ken Anderson and a live Owl Show by bioligist Nancy DeWitt. |
