A little bit of Wedgewood History
Wedgewood Resort was built in the late 1970's to accommodate the influx of people who came north to work on the Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline (a piece can be found on the Wedgewood grounds). What was once a relaxing place for the pipeline's hard-working men and women is now a beautiful resort that caters to a different type of adventurer -- those who come to visit the Golden Heart City!
Some of Wedgewood's famous guests include: Allan Alda (from M*A*S*H) and Nelly (Singer).
