The Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum is a must-see. In addition to the rare autos, you won't want to miss the facinating collection of historic Alaska photographs or the vintage fashion exhibit.

wildlife   The Wedgewood Wildlife Sanctuary offers wonderful nature trails complete with interpretive signage about Alaska's native flora and fauna.
creamers   Creamer's Migratory Waterfowl Refuge is adjacent to Wedgewood Resort. Bring your hiking shoes to take advantage of their great nature trail system and wonderful bird watching opportunities.
cranes   The Alaska Bird Observatory is on property. Stop in to check out their interactive displays or sign up for a guided walk.
antique
  The Fountainhead Antique Clothing Collection, located in the Auto Museum shows a wide variety of clothing ranging from the late 1800's through the 1930's. Learn about the history of fashion in the 49th state.
cabbage   Stroll around the Resort. Ask the Front Desk for a map and enjoy the spectacular flower gardens. You definitely don't want to miss the giant cabbages. If you get tired, flag down the tram for a ride back to your room.. (summer only)
kenanderson   Watch Ken Anderson's Sled Dog Show. Performances at 8:30pm in the Taiga Center on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (summer only)
gift shop   Bear Essentials Gift Shop and Internet Cafe located in Bear Lodge carries a variety of items from Alaskan Crafts, to snacks, sundries and souvenirs.
food   Dine at Golden Bear Restaurant (open mid-May through mid-September)

  Take the Town Trolley to Sophie Station Suites and visit locally owned craft shop, Northern Threads.
  Great Gray owl program every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in the Taiga Center. Presented by biologist Nancy DeWitt. Meet a Great Gray owl from Wild Wings Etc. (summer only)
