Bear Lodge - Top Notch
"I rarely give highest marks on any evaluation! VERY well done. Nice TV and channel package. Excellent value and highly recommended."
- Larry
Bear Lodge - Great Desk Agent
"This is to tell you how satisfied we were with many aspects of your place. The lodge is impeccably clean and the rooms are both spacious and very comfortable. The food we ate at the bar was generous and very good. Having nature trails so close by is exceptional. Your antique car museum is absolutely unique. We would highly recommend the Bear Lodge without hesitation."
- Jacques
Bear Lodge - Stayed Extra Night
"This was one of the nicest hotel experiences we've ever had. The grounds, the flowers, the nature trails and the hotel exceeded all expectations. Your free shuttle was great, having two sinks with a vanity, and the nature guide books in the room."
- R. Robertson
Bear Lodge - Great Stay
"Very nice and clean. Loved the artwork in the hallways and the books in the guest room. One of the best meals that we have had in Fairbanks."
- M. Kimball, Delta Junction
Bear Lodge - Pleasant Arrival
"Arrived at 2:00 AM and was welcomed as if an old friend stopped by. Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room."
- John Halls Alaska Tours
Bear Lodge - Great Amenities and Decor
"Love the wildlife and auto museum photos lining the hallways. I am a bird watcher and mammal watcher from UK - perfect for me. The bird ID book and "Crossing Alaska" book in the room was much appreciated - a great idea! Your gift shop is amazing - well done, I bought lots. Brilliant that you sell stamps for postcards to the UK, too!"

Bear Lodge - Super Staff
"Charming and courteous staff at Front Desk. Check-in was easy and quick. Enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary - even mosquitos weren't too bad! Restaurant experience was pleasant and the staff service was prompt and friendly. Well suited to our needs."
- R. Nichols, Montana

Bear Lodge - A Very Comfortable Stay
"The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. We were on the third floor and had a small private veranda with a screened sliding door. Fairbanks is known for its beautiful summers, and because the outdoor temperature got to almost 80 degrees on the day of our stay, we chose to leave the veranda door open all evening to let in the cool evening air. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds. The bed was quite very comfortable, and the bathroom was large and modern."
"The Bear Lodge is part of a complex that includes a world-class auto museum (yes, in Fairbanks), and the grounds are beautifully maintained."
"The Bear Lodge was very competitively priced, but be aware that the hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast. I am not sure if there is a restaurant on the premises. The hotel is near a residential area and an elementary school, but not much else. There is a free shuttle to take guests to downtown Fairbanks, so the remoteness of the location isn't too much of a problem even if you don't have a vehicle."

Bear Lodge - Nice Clean, Big Rooms
"Went to the Lodge as part of our Princess Sea/Land Cruise. It was our last stop with the vacation, and the best of the places we stayed as part of the trip. The rooms were clean, and spacious. There is really nothing else in the area. They do have a nice little trail that wraps around a little lake, wildlife refuge. And there is a GREAT Antique Car Museum that is a Must to see. I'm not a car guy, but these were the most beautiful, rare cars I've ever seen. Can't imagine they are in a parking lot/museum in Alaska.
We went to an Italian restaurant across the street from the hotel, was pretty good. They also had a shuttle to Fairbanks town, but really not much there."
